The gathering at the scoop neck gives it a sweet little shape, and the fabric held up perfectly through a full day of chasing waves and digging in the sand. My daughter didn’t complain once about it feeling scratchy, which is basically a miracle.
The gathered silhouette gave it a bit of extra room around the middle, which I appreciated since my daughter's between sizes. It dried quickly after our beach trip and she had no complaints about the slightly textured fabric against her skin. Fits the bill for both swimming and playing in the sand.
The textured fabric feels really nice and holds up well after a full day of pool and sand play. My daughter lived in it all summer and it still looks brand new after countless washes.
