My kids have basically turned these into a mini obstacle course in the living room, and they hold up great on the carpet. The square shape is solid enough for sitting but light enough for them to move around easily.
My kids have been stacking these cubes into towers and then jumping on them all afternoon, and they've held up perfectly on our carpet. The fact that they can connect with our other playset pieces is a huge bonus.
We use these cubes as a low-key obstacle course on the living room carpet, and they've held up fine to daily jumping. Took a star off only because my youngest keeps trying to stack them higher than the flat surface really allows.
