The wooden dowel and string make it feel sturdier than the cheap paper charts I've seen, and the wipeable surface handled a sticky juice spill without staining. Every time we mark a new height, I get a little emotional seeing how much they've grown.

Wiped off a crayon mark with a damp cloth and it came right off, no stain at all. The wood dowel feels sturdy and the whole thing looks way more polished than a sticker chart. It's bittersweet watching the line creep up, but this makes it feel special.
